CIA FIRST International School is pleased to announce the results of the 2017 Parents as Partners Associations (PaPA) elections that took place on Saturday 18 November.
For Elementary School, Bo Jespersen was once again voted as chair, while Vuthda Arya will continue as vice chair.
Mr. Jesperson was born in Denmark and has spent 30 years working in communications and customer service. He’s been in Asia since 1994 and first moved to Cambodia in 1999.
“It is imperative we aim to improve the environment for our kids to strive for a higher success in learning,” Mr. Jesperson said. “My aim is to bring out the best of everything, stay positive and be constructive.”
For Middle School and High School, Yi Soksan was voted chair while Tep Vanna was elected deputy and Khan Soara was named secretary.
Mr. Soksan, who works for an NGO in Phnom Penh, has previously served as a PaPA chair, while Ms. Vanna and Ms. Soara are entering the roles for the first time.
We would like to congratulate our PaPAs, who play a vital role in communication between parents and the management of CIA FIRST to create an environment for students to thrive.
